Overview and History

Established in 1949, Keraleeya Samajam (Regd.), Dombivli (KSD) is one of the oldest and most respected socio-cultural organizations in Maharashtra. It was formed by a group of visionary Malayalees who had migrated from Kerala to Dombivli, a growing suburb near Mumbai, with the aim of preserving their rich cultural heritage and providing a support system for the Malayalee diaspora.

Charity and Social Initiatives

Regularly conducts Blood Donation Camps, Free Eye Check-up Camps, and Health Awareness Campaigns in association with NGOs and corporate partners. • Promotes eye donation awareness, senior citizen support, women empowerment, and educational support for the underprivileged. • During natural calamities and the COVID-19 pandemic, KSD was at the forefront of humanitarian relief efforts, distributing food, medical aid, and essentials.

Membership and Structure

Open to Malayalees and well-wishers residing in and around Dombivli.
Membership brings privileges to participate in cultural events, educational initiatives, and governance.
Managed by an Executive Committee and supported by dedicated sub-committees for Education, Cultural Affairs, Health, Sports, and Social Welfare.
